I've always loved suits!!! It's one of my favourite outfits and I do think that never existed a better symbol of power when clothes are concerned.
Before I went on my holiday to Portugal, I decided to hit the town, one evening, and explore the beautiful streets and pubs (yes!) of the amazing city of Bristol.
For going out in the late evening I chose this purple suit. As I really don't believe that you can only wear clothes for a certain time of the day or night, I'm breaking the conventions and wearing a suit to go out for drinks and dinner.

Eu sempre adorei fatos!!! E um dos meus looks favoritos e acho que nunca existiu algum outro conjunto de roupas que representasse tao bem "poder" como um fato.
Antes de viajar para Portugal em ferias, decidi sair a noite mais uma vez e explorar as lindas ruas e bares (Sim!) da fantastica cidade de Bristol.
Para sair pela noitinha decidi-me por usar este fato purpura. Como eu nao acredito que se possa apenas usar certas roupas a certas alturas do dia ou para determinadas ocasioes, estou a quebrar todas as convencoes e a usar um fato para sair a noite, bebidas e jantar.

For me, picking a suit takes a while and I only buy it when I truly believe it has all of my key features: fitted, fun and with an extra kick!
I chose this particular one because of the beautiful purple colour, fitted skirt and jacket, the peplum effect on the waist (that brings a bit of fun and girlishness to it) and the zipper that runs on the jacket and continues to the skirt.
If I'm going to buy a suit it has to be a versatile one that allows me to combine the two different parts with other clothes. Also I always go for the one with an "extra kick" and never choose the simple one. With "extra kick" I'm referring to something else, a detail maybe, that transforms the outfit in something special.

Para mim, escolher um fato nao e algo rapido e eu so compro quando realmente acho que possui todas as qualidades que desejo: justo (ou a nossa medida), divertido e com algo especial!
Eu escolhi este em particular por causa da linda cor purpura, saia e casaco justos, o efeito peplum na cintura (que traz um pouco de alegria e meninice ao mesmo) e o fecho metalico no casaco que continua pela saia.
Se vou comprar um fato, este tambem tem de ser versatil e permitir que use as duas partes componentes com outras pecas de roupa. Tambem gosto de escolher fatos com algo de especial e nunca escolho um "simples". Como "algo de especial" refiro-me a algo como um detalhe, ou detalhes fora do vulgar, forma diferente, cor, etc. que o transformam em algo especial.

I styled the suit with a pair of black varnish pumps and my fringe clutch. I'm wearing a minimum of jewellery: just my wedding rings and watch because the suit is "strong" enough and any extra bling would be too much.

Ao fato adicionei apenas os meus sapatos de salto alto em verniz preto e a minha clutch de franjas. Estou a usar um minimo de joalharia: so os meus aneis de casamento e relogio porque o fato e "forte" o suficiente e qualquer brilho extra seria demais para este look.
