Coombe Abbey Break - Look 1

On my most recent break in Coventry I stayed, with the husband, in a magnificent 12th century abbey that took our breath away. Coombe Abbey Hotel is a destination if you’re in the UK and enjoy beautiful historic buildings with breathtaking gardens. 

We enjoyed this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and I wore some of the new pieces in my wardrobe. I really loved the gardens of the property so that was the perfect location for the outfit photos. 

My travel look consisted on these great black wool, wide leg, & Other Stories trousers (here) that I paired with my new Zara cardigan (here) and patent black slingbacks from Charles & Keith (here). I wore my vintage Chanel bag (similar here) and my old Prada baroque sunglasses (here). I also accessorized with my gold Valentino cuff (here) and my Gucci earrings (here). 

This was a simple look that I put together by pairing a pair of chic wide leg trousers with a cardigan but that is so much more than that. This look is elevated due to the garment details: the cardigan is simple but also stylish and elevated with it’s gold buttons and black frame that really reminds me of Chanel and the trousers, although simple, are cut from a gorgeous quality wool and the fit is super flattering. 

The garden and lake views were so stunning and peaceful. A gorgeous location for special events and special moments. We even had a glimpse of a wedding. 

I also chose accessories that would make the outfit more special. The vintage Chanel, the oversized dramatic sunglasses and the patent leather shoes are all pieces that elevate it even further.
