AUTUMN STAPLES
Hello guys and welcome back to another Blog Post!
Today I wanted to bring a little bit of Autumn and my favorite Autumn staples. Autumn staples for me include, without shadow of a doubt, a great black blazer, perfect knee length boots and a gorgeous shirt or blouse.
These are items, I can and do wear in other seasons, but that I find essential in my Autumn wardrobe.
We took these pictures at a beautiful location: the stunning Wroxall Abbey Hotel grounds and the perfect scenery with beautiful and slightly wet grounds from the recent rain was the impossible stunning backdrop for an Autumn shoot!
I wore my stunning, animal print, silk blouse by Burberry (sold out but very similar here or more affordable version here) with a pair of black shorts from Maje (sold out but similar here) and a black Tessa blazer with tuxedo details (similar here or more affordable here).
I also wore my suede Gucci boots ( here or more affordable here), my animal print Michael Kors messenger bag (similar here) and vintage Celine sunglasses (here).
I completed the look with Calzedonia fishnet tights (here) and my gold Fendi hoops (here).
I wanted to wear a fall appropriate look, incorporating all my favorite staples, but without being too warm for the transitional weather.
I picked up this pair of shorts for that transitional aspect but then added the boots and blazer for an Autumn looking outfit. I also wanted to add a bit of color so I chose this gorgeous silk blouse from Burberry and matched the animal print with the Michael Kors bag.
I finished up the look with fun accessories: the sunglasses and fishnet tights.
I wanted to create an edgy look but that would also look appropriate for a day of shopping or sightseeing: I teamed up the more classic and appropriate blazer and blouse with the edgier shorts, animal print and tights.
I also love to play with my accessories so I had to select a fun pair of sunglasses and playful bag for that modern look.
I love how this look turned out: classic, sophisticated, chic, sexy, playful and fun!
Also this is a very easy look to recreate with other pieces or other colors in your wardrobe and it will always work.
This is a perfect example on how to wear your Autumn staples with transitional pieces for a weather appropriate and chic look.
I really enjoyed putting together this look and I got so many complements while wearing it!
Do let me know if you liked it and if you would consider wearing something like this in the comments below! Meanwhile I’ll leave you with more photos or this great look and the beautiful gardens and mansion at Wroxall! Until next week I wish you a fabulous rest of day!
