Our KOS Holiday: OUTFIT 3
Our Kos holiday was filled with long and warm days by the pool or at the beach that asked for comfortable, practical and, of course, chic outfits.
The 3rd look from my holiday outfits, that I wanted to show you, is different because of it’s color but, for me, one of the most creative from my entire holiday outfits collection.
I wanted to go for a darker look so I chose black pieces that would still look appropriate for the beach and pool.
I wore a very old two piece tankini that I don’t even remember where I got but that you can find similar almost everywhere (similar top here and bottoms here) with a pair of see through loose beach trousers from PrettyLittleThing (here) and a cover up that I got in the Dominican Republic at a local shop (similar here).
I accessorized with my Moschino pool sliders (here), gold Marc Jacobs tote bag (similar here) and my Versace silk scarf (here).
I also wore my Yves Saint Laurent sunglasses (here), Ettika shell necklace (here) and Ettika sparkly large hoop earrings (here).
Because I went with black garments I wanted to add some color and interest to create a more exciting outfit: I added the colorful Versace silk scarf for a shock of color against the black and I also wore my most edgy sunglasses too.
The jewelry was very beachy and holiday appropriate to bring the outfit back to it’s main function.
The addition of the gold bag and gold and black sliders was the perfect finishing detail that went together with the overall colors of this look.
This was one of my favorite holiday outfits because it was unexpected but still practical, sophisticated and chic.
I’ve always struggled with pool and beachwear because of the lack of variety retailers offer when it comes to practical and comfortable clothing that is still stylish and chic.
