A full BLACK outfit
Hello everyone and welcome back to another Blog Post!
I’ve recently embraced the colder weather and the changing of the seasons and deep dived into wearing transitional and Autumn outfits.
I love Autumn and all of it’s sartorial possibilities: the layering, the dept of the looks, the interesting juxtaposed details, wearing jackets and coats, hats, scarfs, boots and so many other pieces that make Autumn outfits so interesting!
A perfect Autumn look for me is a “head to toe”, monochromatic, look and at the top it’s my favorite shade to wear: Black!
I put this look together, quickly, but with the assurance that it would look great because it was a full monochromatic black look!
I wore my black Reiss top (get it here) with a pair of old cigarette style trousers from The Kooples (similar here) and a black blazer from Alessandro D’ell Acqua (similar here).
I added a Stradivarius belt (here), my Valentino sunglasses (similar here) and bucket bag by Ermanno Scervino (similar here). I’m also wearing Hego’s sliders (similar here) and jewellery by Swarovsky.
When I wear an head to toe monochromatic outfit I like to make it more interesting with great statement accessories:
I chose this gorgeous bag because of it’s evening vibe (being patent leather and lined with rhinestones) but also because the cross body strap that makes it more casual for a day look.
These fabulous, fur lined and crystal embroidered, sliders where the perfect pick to finish off this look because they bring a touch of glam but still coordinate with the neutral look with their grey shade.
When wearing an head to toe monochromatic outfit it’s important to mark different parts of the outfit, especially the waist. That’s why I added the belt so that it will make a separation between the top and bottom part of the outfit.
I also made sure that my accessories all connected in a way so that the look would be cohesive: all of the accessories (shoes, bag and sunglasses) connect because they all have rhinestone elements and all are evening appropriate.
I really liked how this look came together and I even filmed a “What I Wore in a Week” video with this and other looks I put together. If you want to see this look and others in detail check out my video here!
